We, Jeanne & Christian, are from Denmark and previously worked in the fashion industry. Like many couples working and raising a family in northern Europe, we asked ourselves how it could be possible to combine our daily life with a more friendly climate ​while still make a living? We wanted to live in beautiful location and have a more relaxed lifestyle once the children were grown up.

Quite accidently while on a biking holiday in Mallorca, Christian discovered this historical townhouse in the center of Soller. On an impulse, he purchased the house knowing it was the place where we could build our dream together. From that moment on, our lives have never been the same.

We knew what we wanted to create:

• A warm and welcoming hotel where we could develop our concept of design, style and functionality.
• A delicately renovated old building that is decorated to embrace its charm and incredible surroundings.
• To establish an atmosphere where guests are treated as friends and can feel immediately at home.
• A place that truly reflects our deep danish values of comfort and ‘hygge’.

Casa Hinges is a unique hotel that caters to the independent guest who is active and curious, yet also enjoys tranquil surroundings and thoughtful details. Welcoming conversation, attentive service and discreet pampering is at the heart of our ideals that we enjoy sharing with everyone who stays with us.

Our approach has always been; “what we don´t know, we can learn”. Building our dream has been an evolving process with many challenges along the way, but through our journey we have become rich in experiences that show through in our attention to every detail.
